This Valentine gift is ready to mail; no packaging necessary. It’s easy to make, and it just might fool the recipient for a minute or two. I know someone who cut the top off the bottle before they figured out how I put stuff inside.

Remove the label from a pop bottle and cut a flap on the side. Stuff the bottle with goodies. I put in wrapped candies, a stuffy bear, a rubber duck, heart shaped confetti, curled ribbon, a new toothbrush, barrettes and a valentine. Tape the flap closed with clear packaging tape and cover it with the address label. I put clear tape over the address label too, just to make sure it stays put. I also glued the cap on and covered it with decorative duct tape. There’s a small surcharge for the odd shape, in addition to postage.

For many years I have suffered from debilitating bloglessness, only writing in my head, while everyone else posted and shared with ease. Previous attempts at recovery have failed, my secret journals edited to death, pages torn out, crumpled and trashed. I will not succumb to this embarassing condition. I will continue to struggle against the rampant backspacing and endless blank staring. I refuse to relapse into the void that is bloglessness. I can do it. I am doing it. I am Overcoming Bloglessness.
