Overcoming Bloglessness

Evening Reflections

We only get warm light in the evening here; the mountains block the golden rays of morning.

Which pic do you like better, the one above or below? I over-edited, within my limited capacity to do so; but I kind of like the effect.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections.

Author: Susan B Raven

For many years I have suffered from debilitating bloglessness, only writing in my head, while everyone else posted and shared with ease. Previous attempts at recovery have failed, my secret journals edited to death, pages torn out, crumpled and trashed. I will not succumb to this embarassing condition. I will continue to struggle against the rampant backspacing and endless blank staring. I refuse to relapse into the void that is bloglessness. I can do it. I am doing it. I am Overcoming Bloglessness.

  1. I think the top one is my preference. As to why…? Well, I think my brain wants to squint at the sun by instinct in the second shot, so having it out of the way works better for me. They are both great shots, though and the deer are terrific! Is this in your yard?

  2. I like the gentleness of the first photo. Quiet contemplation.

  3. I like the quietness of the first photo.

  4. I like the first one better.

  5. I love the first shot, the light is wonderful!

  6. All of them look good! My 2 cents: I like the photo without the sunlight in it, because that distracts my eye and is, to me, kind of harsh to look at. For me, the focal point is the water, not the sun. That said, I like the way the water looks more in the sun shot. Overall, I’d probably choose the shot without the sun, though.
