Overcoming Bloglessness

Thank Goodness for Pee-Chee

Daily Prompt: Land of Confusion.
Which subject in school did you find impossible to master? Did math give you hives? Did English make you scream? Do tell!

Thank Goodness for Pee-Chee!

I hated math. It stressed me out. I just wasn’t good at it. I think that’s why I have an aversion to Sudoku. It’s not fun, like math.

We didn’t have calculators in my day.  We had to do it the hard way: sneaking a peek at the multiplication table inside our Pee-Chees.

For many years I have suffered from debilitating bloglessness, only writing in my head, while everyone else posted and shared with ease. Previous attempts at recovery have failed, my secret journals edited to death, pages torn out, crumpled and trashed. I will not succumb to this embarassing condition. I will continue to struggle against the rampant backspacing and endless blank staring. I refuse to relapse into the void that is bloglessness. I can do it. I am doing it. I am Overcoming Bloglessness.

  1. Know nothing of Pee-Chee folders – but I’m blown away by multiplication trick! I’ve been playing with it too (me? maths?) and I’ve sent the link to my 8y/o grandson.

  2. Sudoku scares me. I see people doing it I get very uncomfortable like they’re so much smarter than I am that I should just melt into the pavement.

  3. P.S. the drawings make this worse. I can’t really count. 😦
